Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean and spacious with a nice view of The Bund, complemented by friendly staff and delicious food. However, there was an additional charge for upgrading the room which was a downside.
Wow! What an amazing hotel! The rooms are absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g, better than most suites in other hotels, with a fabulous view over Shanghai. The service showed us around, was wonderful and very helpful in finding us restaurants and shopping areas, the reasons why I keep coming back. The location is good, not so much traffic as the other side of the Bund, near a shopping mall and Line 12. However, the staff is not very resourceful in arranging transport. The dining is also fantastic, with hot foods cooked and juices juiced to order, and the facilities are top-notch!
The hotel surprised me with its huge rooms featuring a huge bathtub in front of the windows, although not situated in the best location. The service was fantastic with free flow Mumm Champagne, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Despite some cleanliness oversights, the location had its charm being away from the tourist area. The dining experience was unfortunately canceled, but the facilities were top-notch.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The rooms were incredibly spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a scenic view facing the park. While there was a slight cigarette smell, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The location on the Bund area provided a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle, yet remained close to major tourist attractions.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a nice view of The Bund, and the staff was friendly. However, the rooms felt dark and dingy at night. The hotel also has a small pool with a window view for a relaxing time. The location is superb, slightly away from the busy area of The Bund, but the property feels slightly dilapidated. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a mix of European comforts and local delicacies, although some areas needed improvement. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
